Bello Tested and Verified
Over the past three years, we validated Bello’s ability to measure fat at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.
Medical-grade belly fat measurement requires a person to be exposed to radiation for 10 to 30 minutes and trained specialists to analyze the results.
A technology validation study was conducted and Bello measurements were confirmed to be strongly correlated with the Computed Tomography (CT) Scan for subcutaneous and visceral fat.
Bello provides a better measurement of belly fat that is associated with metabolic disease when compared to Body Mass Index (BMI).
BMI (Body Mass Index) is widely used as a measure of weight,
but is not strongly correlated with abdomen fat, as shown in the graph above.
Weight doesn’t tell you how much belly fat you have.
As a critical indicator of chronic diseases,
belly fat should be closely monitored and managed for your metabolic health.
This clinical trial was conducted with reference to Computerized Tomography (CT).
